<p>Every Thursday evening from June through early August, Panama City Beach hosts one of the Gulf Coast's most beloved free events: the Summer Concert Series at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater. With a diverse 10-show lineup spanning soul, funk, bluegrass, sacred steel, 80s rock, and New Orleans jazz, there is something for every musical taste under the warm Florida sky.</p><p>The 2026 lineup is stacked with standout performances — highlights include NOLA funk master John Papa Gros on July 30, The Lee Boys on their 25th Anniversary Sacred Steel Tour on July 9, Body Double's high-octane 80s rock show on July 2, and the series-closing Gage Cowart Band bringing country fire on August 6. Every show is completely free, and you are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, food, and even your pets.</p><p>Located just 45 minutes east of Destin, this weekly concert series makes for a perfect summer day trip from Miramar Beach or Sandestin.
